CPD Underwriting Ltd was formed in 2016 at a time when it became clear that there was a reduction in the range of personal lines products available to brokers and intermediaries in the UK insurance market.

We launched our products in 2019 introducing a range of products including private car, small commercial vehicle and household all of which were well received.

The thinking behind this was that there was a place in the market for an insurance business that could combine traditional underwriting skills honed over many years with the vast amounts of data now available and to then deliver these in an efficient way to our partners.

For  the future we plan to widen the range of products that we offer to bring added value to our relationships with our partners.
